I've seen a few real fast drag cars with those long spilers on them ... I think its supost to give you more down force on the back with out so much drag resistance.

what it is supposed to do is keep the air off the top of the car from going around under the rear, making the car more stable and taking away the sway associated with running slicks

I hope so .... maybe worth some e.t with the stability . Didnt cost me jack to make it so a half tenth or more will be more than worth it

So the air will roll under the pocket made by the spoiler rather than down to the rear wheels? That's cool.

Are you going to get 170 MPH out of that 4 lug rear end?

With nearly 800 horsepower I think he'll be damn close; at least close enough to see the effects of it.
