Lets play a quick game of guess that ford!

I agree with CHooch.... Unless you've been in the bodu buisness the last 10 years doing front end repair, how in the hell can someone tell?
What is the significance of the word Aero?

The Tarus SHO Wagon had a top speed of 146 mph back in the day didn't it?

1987 Thunderbird turbocoupe!
Below are the styles and names the ford thunderbird went though.
Those other names mentioned in the "clues" were real names considered!
This cars style = "Aero Birds" (my opinion were by far the most attractive 'bird ever made... all blacked out it looks like a stealth bomber!!!!)
GregP got it and
CaptVirgilHilts that’s a sharp eye spotting evidence of the T5...right!
black on black this was a really really nice car...Think luxury + SVO +Fox Mustang! I sometimes wish I had it instead of my fox mustang.... if they were both in perfect condition, I would really have a hard time deciding between those two! My friends Mom got it at an auction in ..1994 or close to it, and my friend was last in a 4 car pileup on the 5 freeway.

Actually soon I am going to hopefully be pirating parts off that turbocoupe, my friend (one day in the future) is going to use the powertrain in his '59 Volvo...

3.1 1955-1957 "Classic Birds" or "Little Birds"
3.2 1958-1960 "Square Birds"
3.3 1961-1963 "Bullet Birds"
3.4 1964-1966 "Flair Birds"
3.5 1967-1971 "Glamour Birds"
3.6 1972-1976 "Big Birds"
3.7 1977-1979 "Torino Birds"
3.8 1980-1982 "Box Birds"
3.9 1983-1988 "Aero Birds"
3.10 1989-1997 "Super Birds"
3.11 2002-2005 "Retro Birds"

I've always liked those cars. I'd still like to get one. BTW the T5 has an external slave cylinder that is obsolete now so it is good to hang on to that whole system for retrofitting. Thanks for the head scratcher! Stu
