Finding a scale

Yep, the 4 corner scales rock. I weighed the 67 Coupe last week.

289, iron heads, iron intake, stock 3spd, 8" rear, full interior, full stock body, etc. As in, just like it rolled off the showroom floor (a little worse for wear =p).

2779lbs...repeatable within 1lb.

Not too bad. And I'll be able to use the scales to figure cross weight for cornering, front/rear and cross/preload for the strip...etc etc. I know it's cheaper to get it weighed...but if you can get the scales, my advice is to do so =).

Cris

Oh, yea, just send $1000 to Speedy Bill Smith and he'll ship a set right off.

Many truck stops have certified scales - there's one local that uses Cat scales. Take a bud - you'll need one at the scale and one at the weigh master's station if it's remote from the scale because unless you're in a semi, you can't reach the little speaker box LOL.
Last time I used them it was $7 for the first weight and $3 for each additional. If the pad is wide enough and has sufficient ramp space, you can get front or rear, then sides if you need it.

Yeah, the scale at the weight station here has two pads, so you can have the whole car on one pad, or put the front wheels on one and the rear on another... pretty handy
