Try a UPS/FEDEX depot, feedstores, shipping company. Or just start calling them and they'll tell you where they go. Also call some race shops and ask them for your area.

We use 4 corner scales. The initial cost is more, but the overall usage is nice. You'll find a million uses for them when setting up the car...and knowing your percentages will just make you that much more aware of how and why your vehicle does what it does =).

Local recycling place or land fill. I was there getting rid of some junk and they want you to wiegh the vehicle before and after so I asked after to find out.
Back home in Oregon there was a scale the log trucks used right along the highway. Nobody manned it very often but you could drive up on it and look in the window to see the weight.

Finding a scale

I use a bathroom scale with a 10ft 2x4, then park the wheel on the 1ft mark and multiply the scale reading by 10... do it once for each tire.

JOKING!!! I just drive to the nearby weight station on the highway, or last time I took my pickup to the dump they weigh you on the way in and out, so I just asked the operator. I'm sure they're within at least 100-200lbs (that would be 1-2% on a 10,000lb load) that's close enough for most anyone...

That margin of error will be on the plus side. So keep that in mind.
