Need help on garage door- needs to clear lift!

So,

Have my lift installed except for 220V. Ceiling is right at 11'. The problem is the standard residential garage door that comes into the garage as it opens. So far I have only found commercial roll-up doors that won't interfere with the lift. Anyone have other suggestions? Needs to look nice so my wife doesn't pitch a fit.

J.

~16' by 7' opening.

Could also go with the standard barn doors, that open outward.

you don't mention the brand of your door. however, my Martin doors have an additional panel. the top panel extends above the normal top panel. the side rails go further up next to the ceiling. this alows the door to be about 6" from my 10' ceiling. call your door guy, a good one should know this.
