Accesory Brackets

I am changing engines out of a 1990 model Thunderbird SC. The engine did well til it got to 141,000 miles then smoked a bit til it got warmed up. The power went south as well. Now it is sporting a crown vic 302 out of a 1987 police cruiser. The only problem i am having is the absence of brackets on the vic engine. They were absent when i got it. Does anyone know where any used power steering, alternator or AC bracket could be had. New ones would work as well. Anxious to get this "SSC" on the road once again. Loved driving it.

You'll need to locate a 5.0 LX T bird in a yard or someone parting one.

You could contact someone in this club. Many members will have LX Tbirds and also may be able to help with SC unique parts etc.

You need to find a 91-93 T-Bird or Cougar with a 5.0.
Make sure you get the water pump and timing cover since they are different than a 5.0 out of a CV. Your CV water pump is a long snout and the water pump in the T-Bird is a short snout pump.
