First Project

I recently bought a 71 mustang with a 351 cleveland (rbuilt) motor. The body is in great shape, and it seems to run smoothly, but needs some cosmetic work. (weather seal, chrome molding, interior work) The car is lacking a bit on the sound of the motor and exhaust, just wondering if anyone had some ideas, other than going the flowmaster route.

Re: First Project

There are a couple of guys around here running the Borla exhaust & it's much different than the flowmaster sound. It has a unique sound that reminds me of the old chambered exhaust systems of the past.

Re: First Project

Ive always been a fan of Borla also give a good exhaust note and flow really well a set of headers would do your car wonders do you have 2v or 4v 351c? Automatic or Stick just wondering what you got going on with the car take it easy man.

Re: First Project

Like I said borla is great exhaust from what I have heard with little flow restriction yet you dont get that flowmaster drone that some people dont like it gives a car a more defined tone but thats just me on my current car im such a redneck i dont even have exhaust hooked up but i have used borlas in the past and will use them again
