i'd do the same but with a roadster instead and dress up the stroker to look like a hi po 352 with 3 2's

my other build would be a 64 t-bolt with a chi headed 393w w/ mass flow fuel injection, corvette front suspension a t-56 six speed and a minitubbed, 9" 4-link out back using late model mustang control arms and torque thrust d big and littles. cage it and go 9's on sniff of nitros. then drive it on the Hot Rod drag week tour.

You guy's are light wieghts . Well kids , get a 74 Cougar . put an "aluminum" frame under it , get 5.4L 32V V-8 , two T-76 turbos , get the 5-speed auto trany ,the AWD transfer case and bolt up to it(all stock parts), 4.30-1 8.8 Cobra diffs. Gold Tracks front and back ,18x12 wheels and 345-35-18 race compound "all around" , Pro-Street roll cage . You can get most of these parts at a junk yard right now for cheap .

If I could build anything right now I would be doing a 1933 ford coupe and a 1956 ford f100 (maybe the best looking ford truck of all time)

I have built up several cars over the years, and wanted some thing different this time. It is a reveresed Resto Rod. I took a 93 Thunderbird that was bought new as the family car, and turned it into my weekend play car.

It turned out better than I had thought it would. It has a 393 stroker now, with a Vortech YSi supercharger making 700+ HP. I never fails to turn heads rumbling down the road, or at a car funtion. There are several pictures and details here.

These are cheap now, and parts easy to get, except some performance parts have to be modified to fit.

It is a FUN car.
