Re: STOLEN Olds 442 SF Bay Area / Sacramento area

I agree, theft is one thing that really upsets me. Even if the guy were to turn himself in and admit to chopping this mans car into a million pieces, the punishment handed down by the law would not be fitting and the victim would still be without his car. Chances are he's been convicted of theft before is supporting some kind of "habit'. I'm in Fairfield also and will keep a eye open for it, or parts of it. Try watching craigslist, something may pop up there.
As far as the Alameda swap meet, I thought they stopped doing it? I always enjoyed it and thought it was fair. If you want overpriced go to the Goodguys show. If it is still going on, when? I think it was like the third sunday.

Re: STOLEN Olds 442 SF Bay Area / Sacramento area

Sorry about the swap meet comments guys, seriously not trying to offend anyone. I actually went 3 different times. The first time was pretty bad but it was the first one of the season and it was cold so I gave it another chance. I have a broad range of interest in cars so I look for all kinds of parts. I will agree that most of the prices were better than a lot of the Goodguys vendors.
Anyway, as you all go to swapmeets etc please keep an eye out for any of the described parts and let me know if you see them.
Thanks,
Jason

its all good....I was talking to the production company that throws that event a while back about bringing live music there to draw a bigger crowd. The event is poorly advertised right now and I'm not sure if they are even doing it anymore which is why we never proceeded but we are trying to organize a swapmeet with live music in the alameda area. Details to be posted soon.

The antique auction out there brings a huge crowd. heard there is some real bargains to be had if you got some extra cash and some time.
