who brought us into the modern mode of transportation,the car.If not for thier efforts we would be in our buggies and on our horses backed up in traffic head to tail.

The department of roads would have workers all over the place cleaning up horse dung.Then again our lawmakers would probably have passed laws making you diaper your horse.

A bale of hay would be $100.00 and a bushel of oats would be $200.00 although your horse could nibble at the grass along the side of the road while you're waiting in that traffic jam.That would save you a couple of bucks on your feed bill.

It would take six months to travel from coast to coast.Everyone would be complaining about the cost of horseshoes and the price the vet would charge when your ride was ailing.

In Nascar all of the horses would be exactly the same size and only the riders would decide the outcome of the race.Thanks again to all of those talented people.

What's new is old if you think about it.. What you're describing is NASCAR's Car of Tomorrow. Anyone who thinks that this is competitive racing doesn't understand what the word 'race' means. Anybody watch the napfest at New Hampshire this past Sunday? Until the (former) Busch series goes to the pony car bodies as has been unofficially announced as the cars for '09, I'll stick with the Northeastern Saturday night dirt tracks where the REAL racing takes place.
