Hot Rodders are the ultimate recyclers ... Most of us, besides working on our cars, also tinker on the house. At the very least are more likely to have the house remodeled than to move, unless its really necessary.

I'm not into this ancestor worship thing, I have faith that this too shall pass. Americas best days are in the future, not the past. What I do know is I really could care less about what is happening in the EU or Asia. I'm not a big fan of the Global economy or NAFTA. One of the reasons America was founded, was to make a clean break with the crap that was happening in all the different places we each came from. The point was to start fresh...not bring that old crap over and start it fresh in a new place. We seemed to have forgotten that ... don't ch'a know. As a people, we are much better at finishing a fight than starting one. Now everyone is a hyphenated American and we are in deep dodo. When we were commited to making things work 'cause we were all in it together...we were much better off.

I didn't toss the microwave til the safety part of the latch was too worn out and smacking it to set it didn't work anymore. LOL

But true, recycle, reuse or whatever it takes to make things last regardless of what it may be!

Dont anyone get the impression that I'm just a miserable angry person that hates everything... I'm not pulling my hair out over Sears or Dodge trannys ..... (I wonder if Crapsman built the A518.....hmmmmmm a Satan/MoParts conspiracy theory.....)

I dont get spun up easily, and write the rants for entertainment value as much as anything else. I saw a motivational poster once that had a capsized ship on it and said "It could be that the purpose of your life is only to serve as a warning to others".... Sometimes it seems like it fits but the reality of things is this..... no matter how bad it gets... no matter how angry we may get at the government...no matter how unfair we think something may be; we are in the most blessed Country in the entire world. Most of us live at a level of comfort that would make most people in the world cry. Supermarkets full of fresh food, electricity more than 1 or 2 hours a day, running water, toilets that flush that are actually inside the house, satellite TV, Computers with high speed internet, and High Performance Blue Oval Musclecars..... Yeah.... we got it pretty good

(now if I could just get this &^%$#%^&*(**&^^$$#^!!!!! tranny back together so I can burn $100 a barrel crude at 14 mpg!)

Another thing worth mentioning, the quality of their jacks and jack stands. I bought their 2-1/4 ton jack and stand combo for $40 a little more than a year ago and after a couple of uses, the jack started to leak oil and the stands started to actually buckle after a years use. I just don't understand why it isn't profitable to produce something of quality anymore, even if it's made over seas.

Yes some times we can and DO forget these very facts!

Its also ironic how we sometimes create our own hell! Mine is my car, the time engery and cost of what ive spent over the last 5 years trying to have a hobby.

Hell most of the world doesnt even own there own car to get to work so they can make money to put gas in there car so they can get to work so they can make money to put gas in thier car.............

OK.... here's bringin ya up ta date... Package left in the Galaxie today by USPS (I was back at the doctor AGAIN!) Tool-sale ROCKS! Got a made in Tiwan BIG A** C-clamp type compressor and a bushing driver set delivered for like $43 with shipping...ordered on the 19th delivered on the 24th priority mail!!!!! The plastic cover on the case for the bushing driver was broken (cracked) but WHO FLIPPIN CARES!! I get to FINISH THE DODGE!!!
