Forgetting Your Problems For A Few Hours

With all of lifes downs it's nice to find an old Honky Tonk out in the country,have a few beers, shoot the bull with people like you and listen to the home town band.

wow I wish there were some bands like that in san antonio. although we do have versions of it but it is tejano and its real good but I like country as well.

I can think of several bands from that part of the country that are bluegrass or country.

Check out The Gourds, Robert Earl Keen, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Pat Green, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Larry Joe Taylor for starters.

I know of them but Im talking local bars and stuff.
