Your first car

You're looking at it. Parents bought it new in 68. My mom drove until my brother went off to college. He drove it for a couple years and decided he wanted something else. Perfect timing as i was about to get my license.

Ahh... the memories... stock 302 2bbl, single exhaust. Put my first set of headers and hacked up dual exhaust on in auto shop. Been a car nut ever since. (20+ years ago)

1990 pontiac sunbird four door that belonged to my dads girlfriends mom who passed years ago.

Dad tricked me, when i heard sunbird i thought like a sporty but sedate (think four cylinder firebird type thing) car. Nope four door, 2.0L, automatic. Ugly as heck, but at the time girls were just interested in the fact i had a car. I still drive it, but only because i refuse to have the falcon be my only reliable car because after all you can't upgrade it when you have to drive it every day. Well that and the fact i get 30mpg with the sunbird.

Plus theres the memories, Three years of faithful service getting me to the then girlfriend (recently made Ex ) and to work so i could wine and dine said ex. Its hard to throw that away no matter how ugly the car is
