Re: Loud Sigh from Murff's House
Congrats Murff, can't wait to see pics of it all put back together! You using the same injection system/intake, just with the new plates and relocated injectors? Always liked the look of it

Spali -
You know there's always a cold beer waiting.

Yup, same injection. Had the entire system flowed over the winter and set up for my combination, should be ready to fire once it's all connected, then just a little fine tuning.
Still having a little bit of fit issues with the whole intake package but Ray (Flat32) stopped by again yesterday and he now has the plates and intake base at his place and is modeling up everything in Solid Works to see where to make the changes. If you didn't know, Flat32 has three CNC mills in his garage. Dude has skills. Plus, he tossed me the keys to his Deuce again and told me to hang it out a bit, which I was more than happy to do. That little flat motor really sings when it's all wound up.
Motorhead, we're still going to try and make Yakima for Vintiques the first weekend in August. You going to be there?

I can't wait for the Vintiques show!!!! Look for the blue and silver and the red country sedan wagons and stop by and say howdy. Is it August yet? G&M Honest Performance is an awsome place. I have had one of the owners kids in my class. Great People. They definately know their stuff.

Re: Loud Sigh from Murff's House
Alright Larry, now I'm really getting curious about you. Was that Chris' kid? I don't know his name, don't think I've ever met him. The neighbor kid across the street is one of his best buddies. I wrote about the neighbor kid some time ago when he came over to show me all of his new Crower stuff for his Honda POS. He has that sucker in the high 12's now. Might be givin' the Falcon a run for the $$. Might have to set up a Match Race with him.
Steve at Honest told me the other day that they are going to pull the blower Motor out of their Chevelle so that Chris and his kid can go bracket racing. Same kid?
So what part of town are you in? And I'm on vacation next week, spending it in the garage. Drop a line & stop by for a cold one.

Can't argue that. When you're right, you're right.
Had we ever gotten past the experimental stage with the 351 and moved onto the Olds' engine, there would have been one there. Now we're locked in on a course of action with the little block.
Blower would have made my lines shorter, too.

Murff,
His last name is Martin. I believe they have a Chevelle. One boy in College and the other boy is in high school now. I live in Puyallup. I am planning on switching over the spindle on my wagon this weekend. Next month I am going to install a CD ignition box on my wagon. Hoping to squeeze a little more mpg out of the wagon if I can keep my foot out of it.
Where about are you located?
Larry

Re: Loud Sigh from Murff's House
I'm in Federal Way, about 2 miles from Honest.
Heck, you, Spali, Shotrod, Flat32 and I are all neighbors!
