Soon as I know more I will let you all know. I only found out a couple hours ago because i forgot my cell at home as usual. There's a small circle of us that keep in touch and had 2 of the gang call to let me know which I am grateful.
A webpage would be great, I'm sure just from posts here a lot of info could be garnered on how she lived. I have a couple old circle track pics from the day that she had sent me once somewhere buried on my puter. I'm not a very good writer though.
She was definitely and inspiration and how she retained all that car knowledge I will never know! Shoot I'd find myself asking her about something more than once just because I forgot!
I'll see what I can do to help.
Deb

Deb- sorry to hear this news, you guys seemed pretty tight even if thousand miles or so apart...are you gonna keep the WOF site going?
WOF/FM folks gonna go together to send flowers, something to her granddaughter, etc...

WOF will keep on going, even though it doesn't move real quickly there. I have been off the computer for the most part the last few days but had seen she had posted there in the last few days also.
I guess we just never know when our number is up so live it to the fullest.

Re: One of the FM Family has passed
Unhappy evening here for the Monster
Many interesting exchanges with Jan over the past five years ...
Folks, I have made too many melancholy posts here at FM based on life experience but here is another ...
With what I have seen around me over the past several years ...
just understand, none of us know what our personal future holds nor do we know how long our friends will be with us ...
Never under-estimate the importance of those two facts.
RIP Jan .. God Speed!

Wow, I don't know what to say she was always knowledgeable, and as someone else mentioned had a fiery way about her she will be missed.

Re: One of the FM Family has passed
Well, I was one of the people who were lucky enough to actually meet Jan in person, after meeting her on line here on FM waaaaaaaay back in 2003.
Truly one of the best people Ive ever met ANYWHERE.
She never had a bad word to say about anyone. And I was quite honored when in one of her posts she said I was one of the people she considered a friend.
She'll be missed by many.
Deb, keep me (us) posted, you know where I (we) hang out.
This just sucks.
Chuck

Re: One of the FM Family has passed
Very sad news indeed.
I couldn't believe it when I opened up this thread.
A most informative person, and have always enjoyed reading her posts.
RIP Jan.
