It ALSO works as a buffer for vibration if you can believe that.

You can drop it and use washers all around but the noise would increase and strength would decrease.

It helps keep out vibration while keeping strength.

Kinda like the groundhog day movie only you had to create your day over again yourself.

At least you remembered it now. If it were me i would of had it all ready to test drive and then maybe notice it.

Re: shoot me --just shoot me

Maybe this will reduce your stress level!
Back in the 80s I raced a latemodel in
Saskatoon, Sakatchewan,Canada, we called
them Suprstocks.
It was a Saturday afternoon and I was
thrashing for the nites racing. Got the
motor in, the 180 heades on, everything
went smooth for a change. Backed the
trailer up to the garage crawled into the
car(86 Tbird, plastic body, built my own
tube chassis, screamin 289 back when
hardly anyone ran Ford)and fired it up!
Went to put it in gear,GRIND, WTF, tried
again, same.
For effect read the next sentence slowly.
Head fell between arms, hands white knuckle
on steering wheel (I'm gray haired now but
back then I was a flaming redhead with the
temper) I shut off the motor...
I crawled out to see what I had missed.
Ya, the clutch slave worked. Walked around
the front (runnn a latemodel out of a single
car garage, too much stuff) kicked this
round 11 inch disk out of the way,,,NO WAY!!
After the appropriate selection of
4 LETTER WORDS
I calmly closed the garage door and went to
the races, as a spectator.
Fred
PS For those that didn't understand
I fogot the clutch wear disk!
