Non destructive inspection companies use it for weld inspections with electromagnets.

your surfacer doesnt have a liquid cooling tank flowing liquid on the surface as its spinning? all the shops i have worked in have, the stuff just flows down a drain tube into a container under the machine and you have to scoop the stuff out into the garbage every month or so....its really really small stuff.

the only use i can think of .
is way back wwhen i raced roundy round.
i used it to coat the aluminum engine parts.
so the magnet would stick and pass tech.
