Flying To Work

We probably won't see it but our grandkids will someday possibly fly to work.

Re: Flying To Work

Over the years this idea keeps popping up, but you never really see it become serious...maybe cost, maybe people not wanting to learn to fly, or....

Sit there idling and have some kid get to close and sucked into the prop! Also looks like when the wings are folded up, might be a bit of a blind spot happening there.

and I can just see it in the parking lot...hit the wrong switch and the wings fold out...not just one, but two fender benders to deal with!!
Now I am sure there is some safety to keep this from happening when driving, but the funny thought to me was someone robs a bank and uses it as their getaway vehicle...police are closing in and presto! Wings extend and you take off and get away...until they send the copters in after you! WOuld make for an interesting episode of COPS!

Re: Flying To Work

Maybe they will do it with altered DNA, new kids will be born with wings.

Re: Flying To Work

This crap has been going on since the 1930's...

Popular Science and Popular Mecanix magazines I have from the 1930's talk about their children flying to work when they grew up...

Old News....
