Something told me I shouldn't drive my Falcon today.

But I did and got smashed on the freeway. Woman cuts from the on ramp to the fast lane with out as much as a looksee and forces me to swerve into a car on my left.
Never ever ever ever drive something that means something to you on a Friday on the freeway during rush hour traffic. Our freeway is like the Rubicon trail, you expect some sheetmetal damage no matter how carefull you are.

I don't know why I don't listen to my self some times.
Deciding whether to drive the Falcon or my POS Corolla this morning and I let the stupid half of my brain win and this is the result.
I am sick.

You don't even have to say it....the a$$ hat probably didn't even notice the wreckage they left in their wake.

That sucks man. I'm always worried it will happen to me. It's gotten to the point where I only drive my Mustang on off hours.

Could be worse. At least you made it out ok and from the looks of it you can atleast save the fender. But I agree about the ass hats out there. They do seem to be out in full force on fridays. Saw two males of hispanic disent driving in a beat to hell early 90's Corolla which alraedy had some body damage. Jerk offs tried to force there way between a SUV and big Ole Silverado. Guess what there up to?

I was talking about the drivers here today when don said something about the guy right on his tale end. I said that's cause they drive blind here and sniff their way down the highway!!

I had a girl try to make me jerk to the right to hit someone else and then return to the off ramp. I didn't budge. Would of been her fault and the side she would of hit if that's what she was going to do is already munched.

I don't think it really matters though what day you drive, if your number's up your number's up.

Hope you find the parts quickly and get her fixed.

We haven't met in person but you may know I live in Sparks. I have a great friend who lives around the corner from me. He's putting the final touches on my 1973 Torino. He's very fair and does the work on the side.

My insurance company says they will get the car fixed so I will wait for their check or whatever they do these days, then I may look you up if thats ok?
I'm going to start looking around for parts now since they are really hard to find. Really all I need is a fender and front bumper which are probably the two hardest 67 parts to find that arent beat or rusted.
I am going to keep my eye out for a local parts car but I am not confident there is anything left around here thats worth anything as far as donor cars go.
