AOD Rebuilder in Portland, OR

I've got an '88 AOD for a Crown Vic that I want to have rebuilt/reconditioned for a '30 Model A I'm building. I know the transmission was working when I pulled it out, put want to make sure it's in top condition before installing for the final time.

Can anyone recommend (or even recommend against) a good transmission rebuild shop in Portland, OR?

Any and all recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

TCI Automotive offers repair services on transmissions & torque converters regardless who built them, I didn't rebuild one at TCI but I bought a new (Remanufacture) AOD from them about a year and a half ago, and it is a nice pice, better then stock for sure.
If you are doing a rebuild, it will be a good idea to use better parts, like wide kevlar o.d band and street valve body, not only for performance, but also for longevity.

Check the price's you are getting for a full rebuild, it might be better to buy a new one (start from 1,200$ for a better then stock AOD)
