House Rebuild

Things seem to be a little slow here so I thought I would post a couple of pics of the house I'm "destroying", rebuilding. The wall has been re-enforced with scafolding and rope. Just to keep it Ford related, Summit shipped my Pertronix ignition last week. Should have it soon and my car will run again. Then it is just the body work to get done and finish assembly. I hope you don't mind the off topic post.

Looks like a major job. Keep the progress pictures coming.

Why not make a website of this? More than likely admin is gonna strike this thread, seeing that it is not car related.

There's some real wood in that structure.

I put it in the garage because it was a little off topic but I also justified it with my ignition. BTW, Don't leave a Pertronix ignition on for 2 days straight. My car is very neglected while I try and get a roof over my head. Divorces Suck!!

I'll bet that the wood holding your ceiling up dates back to the 16th century!

What's a Hovel? The beams are at least at a minimum 100+ but I would bet more like 300+ or older. They were recycled when they put them in. Many notches from previous uses. They few that are not worm eaten weigh a ton. The rest will make great fire wood.
