Ford Car With A Touch Of Chevy Trim

A 1949 Ford with 1956 Chevy side moulding. Custom car builders design what they would like to have seen Detroit build. Looks unique for sure.

Wait ... Don't tell me. Ok, I give!

What kind of engine is it running?

You have a postitive knack for finding and posting some really unique hybrids.

Re: Ford Car With A Touch Of Chevy Trim

local pinstriper/painter 'DennyDidIt' has a old aqua colored ranchero he airbrushed chevy trim on- very nice job...think he has a mural in the bed that says 'identity crisis'. The guy has some incredible talent- hes got a black Nomad with flames that is drop dead gorgeous...and I'm not a huge fan of flames usually
One other local shop that does great paint work is 'remick'...no idea if thats a person or a shop, but have seen a couple perfect paintjobs that were done by him/them...some really talented folks out there- I cant even draw a stick figure without Autocad

It looks decent from the side, but I'm not crazy about the front paint scheme.

Hello,

I came across your post and thought I would say thank you for the testimonial for my dad's work. Identity Crisis is one of my favorite projects of his, and the nomad you speak of is awesome too! I have a pic of the nomad on his website, but not the Ranchero yet. If any of you want to check out my dad's work for yourself you can go to DennydiditART.com.

Have a Great day all!

Your Dad is a true old school craftsman. Very few of those around these days. It would be great if you would follow in his footsteps and keep the torch burning for future hotrodders.

Hey there Flash!

I appreciate the vote for my dad's work. I wish I had his talent, but I just can't lay down paint the way he does. What are you up to these days? I miss the trivia contests )

Your Pop's work?

Put up some work in progress pics. I'd love to see this car in the rough before the damnable chevy chrome...
