My 1975 brazilian Galaxie Landau.

i just have bought this car last week by internet, it will arrive in my home tomorrow or later, but i know there´s a lot of things to work on it.
.
it is a 1975 brazilian Ford Galaxie Landau. as you should already know, the brazilian galaxies from 67 to 83 are the american 66 with some modifications.
.
this one is the last "frente em pé" or the last with vertical headlights. the next years have a front end "ltd style" and the 302 engine.
.
the 75´s engine is the Y block 292, the only option at this time. its quite cheap and easy to find parts of this engine here, not a big issue.

That is simply... awsome.

Welcome to FM.

I'm looking forward to some more pictures as you work on it.

Welcome to FM.

Did you say that you have a 1975 '292 Y BLOCK' in your GALAXIE?

Re: My 1975 brazilian Galaxie Landau.

The last 292 I looked at had Babbit Bearings If I remember correctly, the rebuild kit for it was something like $1,500 bucks......
Have they changed the design of them for you down there?

That is cool! Does it run on the ethanol fuel that is popular down there?
