Well, he wrote back.
He never mentioned my offer of $40 for the pair, but he did answer my question of Main Caps...
There are none...
I told him they're not worth scrap without main caps.
He told me that all I needed was main caps off another block and a line hone.
Then I told him that if one had ANOTHER BLOCK to get the main caps off of one would not needed a Block that did NOT have main caps... Unless it was a blown up 351, but most of them go to scrap iron charlies or the main caps BREAK when it blows up which renders them unsuitable anyway...
I told him thanks but they should be scrapped...
