Port Matching Heads and Intake
You can order everything you need from Eastwood online and many other places to be sure. It's best to have a die grinder either pneumatic or electric (the pneumatic is much cheaper, but you have to have a pretty big compressor to keep up with the tool). If you purchase a die grinder get one with a rear discharge for the air. It will be much appreciated by your eyes (you wont get as much crap blown in your face). Wear a good dust mask in the very least, a good respirator at best. TAKE YOUR TIME! Eastwood has an assortment of bits that will make the job easy. DONT polish your intake area. It needs to maintain a semi ruff surface to help mix the fuel and air properly. If you polish it the air will outrun the fuel and the fuel won't atomize with the air properly.
Use baby steps in removing the material and do a little bit in each port, rather than completing one port then moving on to the next one. This will help keep your work uniform, not making one port bigger than another. Oh, and let the tool do the work, this is part of the taking your time bit, meaning don't push too hard to make it go faster. You will wad bits too quickly if you are using too much pressure. A good bit should cost around $30 and one should do the job no problem if you go slow.
Well there are a bunch of other things to be sure, but these are some highlights that come to mind.
