Totally Finished E7 Pictures

I got tired of not heving finished my heads
so i went in and grinded away for 2 days at the shop totaling around mabye 35 hours total spent on these heads porting them..

tonight we tore the engine apart our plan is to install these heads tomorrow and take the car to the track thursday.
i was very happy to see the original crosshatching still covering every bore.
also the valve reliefs look deeper than my 89 ho motor does anyone know if 94 ho engines have deeper reliefs?

i have located some good springs for the heads and will install them tomorrow

heres some pics of the finished heads and of the engine all ripped apart

So how did it all turn out? I am working on a set of E7's myself and I have some pics on foureyedpride.com of the work. I need to do some more pics of the heads I just have gotten busy with other projects. Capri331

well it turned out pretty good i dropped my quarter mile time by 0.25 and thats with this crummy performer289 intake

i imagine after i get a better intake i will see the full potential of these heads some slicks would help too

i got the car to do a 14.0 but really want a 13.9 or better so high lift valvesprings lunati 51012 and old torker intake should put me well into the 13's i would hope

all this in a 86 tbird quite a camaro eater hondas are pro's at eating my dust not many ask what my engine is i think that 302 growl answers that question for them.

very nice work! I've ported a few E7's in the past and will be porting a set for my 91 GT Mustang before to long. First I have to build me up a C-4 automatic, as I will be bracket racing this car, and then hopefully I can port me a set of E7's!
the last set of ported E7s I owned propelled me to a 6.96 and 6.97 back to back at my local track. A guy in Texas did them for me at strickly performance. They also had the 1.84 x 1.54 larger GT 40 style valves in em. Mind you this was on a track that is 60' shorter than a regular 1/8 mile at Mobile International Dragway and its also with 100hp nitrous system and on slicks!
