When you have the seats opened up have them use a tool to cut the bowls at the same time. Not sure if all machine shops have it but it sure makes it easy to blend the bowls in. These are cut at 70 degrees.

Had the intake bowls done in no time at all.

I am concerned with the small amount of material that I have left for the seat itself, how much will the machine shop need for a good seat?

Son is getting his heads done right now.
To enlarge the valves from 1.94 to 2.02 and from 1.50 to 1.60 and cut the bowl, new valves and seats. Is going to be a touch over $300.00
But the big thing is to make sure they cut the bowl. If they don't you won't get the increase your looking for. Not all of it anyway.
Most machine shops around here don't mind talking your project over with you. They look things over and let you know if your ideas will work.
