Questions about ported E7\'s & ported stock EFI intake (long post, sorry)

I have put in seats for a 1.54 but never for 1.6valve - I was just wondering about the water if I put in the 1.625 x .218 seat if I would hit water or thin things out too much. I have a few sets of E6's I can try on.

The thing about cutting valve seats on those induction hardened ex. is the hardening is not consistant and if your cutting seats with the three angle tool as I do - concentricity is time consuming - the tool rides up and over the hard spots. If you put in seats - you can get concentricity right on and qwick.
