Rocker stud holes

Do AFR heads have the holes for the rocker studs drilled all the way through into the intake port ? Is this common on aftermarket heads ? Dart claims it won`t affect airflow, how could it not ?

Rocker stud holes

If the stud is flush with the roof when installed, it wont affect airflow. If it protrudes some then it will. I always check that the grind the bottoms of the studs or bolts (shaft rockers) so they are flush when torqued.
Also use a sealer so you dont get any oil seeping into the port.
