Quick Q.
Say you had 2 sets of heads E7 and gt40p, or any other gt40 head that's not aluminum.

What would be the best head to port? and which one would give you more power?

I WOULDNT MESS WITH THE S.T.R. UNLESS YOU REALLY KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING...YOU CAN REALLY MESS UP FLOW HERE...I WOULD ONLY SMOOTH OUT THE FACE, BUT JUST ENOUGH TO MAKE IT SMOOTH, NO MORE THAN THAT AND DONT CHANGE THE SHAPE AT ALL..GOOD LUCK

Re: Porting my E7Te\'s

Be carefull some heads are different although they are the same casting number. I ported a set of e-7's with the smaller pushrod tubes and broke thru the water jacket where as the ones with the larger p/r tubes are ok.

The old gt 40 heads will flow more air than the e-7's with a 1.840 valve. I've had success going to a 1.940 valve but a lot of material needs to com out
