porting combustion chambers

So...if bringing my gap to .1 my cr is 12:1 with 8psi of boost, will i encounter detonation? also, what head gasket would you use to accomplish this. is a 4.06 bore size gasket alright on a 4.04" bore?

Cometic can make thick gaskets, but if it was me I would try for the quench clearance...
Either way, at 12:1 you need 110 octane with a blower. So at this point, it won't matter what you do.
I was under the impression you were going to try to run pump gas. You never said what exactly you are doing.
Maybe some more info would help!!
