In the earlier posting it stated I need a "variac".Is that like a reostat of sorts to slow the speed of the grinder down? If so where do I find that? Thanks for the help!

I'm not sure what a "variac" is but for electric grinders, you can't beat a foot pedal for infinate speed control. If you can't find one on E-bay or one made for grinders, you can get one from any sewing machine repair shop. As far as long burrs go, common sense will aleviate most problems and there is a limit to what a pencil grinder will reach or what you can see while using it. I haven't had any problems with any of my burrs or abrasives, outside of the cheapest Chinese crap you can imagine.

Re: Die Grinder Cutters/Bits ??
Mondello makes burrs specifically for porting and give really nice finishes.
I know it tempting to go for the cheap ebay type stuff but don't do it. Burrs like that usually have all sorts of issues like balance, too aggressive, poor finishes and worst of all...the long shaft burrs can fly apart, which is bloody dangerous!!
Get some quality short/long burrs and they will last most people for years.

"THEY" have extended shanks ,too? Come on A-HOLE, who is "THEY"? Wow! I'm Impressed! An unbiaised revevue of you're own FRIGGING product! Sorry, but tactics like this do not instill confidence in a an unknown entiity. I'll take my chances with the cheapies that have served me well up until this point. As sorry as they may be at times, at least they only offer discounted price as their incentive to chose their product. Sorry to dissaspoint, but at this point you couldn't GIVE me your crap, because , while it might be better than the other crap out there, your marketing scheme conveys a total lack of consideration to ethics or honesty in business. If you can't show me integrity in marketing your product, how do you expect me to make the leap to trust the integrity of the manufacture of your product? Go troll for business somewhere else, and let us speed derainged wierdos have fun beating each other up, and advertise on a a more tratitional venue.

Wow! That's harsh. If he was trying to hide who he was or what he was representing he wouldn't use the name RJSUPPLY. Would he?
I don't see a problem with a business plug. It happens all the time on hear and other Sites and as long as they do legal and ethical bussiness, it's fine with me.

I disagree, and while it may be a chicken sh@% fine line , in some eyes, it's not to me. I wouldn't have had a problemn with- "hey I have some really good S$$t for sale", and that would have been busted in a New York minute, on almost any forum, because that is not what forums are for. But consider this, not only is this person advertising in a venue outside legally accepted and personally financed, but take note that he takes advantange to degrade the quality of his competitors wares, under the guise of a impartial third party.

I don't thing we read his post the same way. I see none of the accusations that you are talking about. Made in the USA is a plus for most Americans. I don't even know who this RJ company is, but I wouldn't be afraid to use them IF they have quality product and fair prices. I still don't think he misrepresented who he was do to the fact that he used his company name as his user name. That doesn't sound like a third party to me.

Re: Die Grinder Cutters/Bits ??
I was in a really bad mood last night, and I did overreact somewhat, but I think he should have said he had some burrs for sale, and the way it was worded just struck me as an attempt to sound as though he was a satisfied customer, instead of the seller.
