Question too those, who work with flowbench

Hallo,
I have build my own flowbench for home use. It is not the perfekt one, but the bench is well adjustable and I can messure up to 300 cfm at 28" of water.
I only have on thing, what make me a little nervous.
If I open the valve up to 0,5" the testpressure is going down with every step of the lift and I have to close the bypass a little to adjust the testpressure.
But when I open the valve from 0,5" too 0,55" and to 0,6" (ported Trick Flows), the testpressure is not going down any more, it is instead of this going up a little, and therefore I have to open the bypass a little to adjust the testpressure.
The velocity i not going down, it is getting up.
Did you have the same experiences with professional flowbenches, or is this only with my flowbench????

Thank you for your help
Hans

I think you would find more flow bench operators on Speed Talk: Interviews - Racing Books - Racing Forum. Could you give us more info? I'm curious how you built this thing.

Hallo,
I am happy that you are interested in my "work".

The link is to a other forum. There you see some pictures from the flowbench.
