4v head mods

For the guys using 351c 4v heads, are you modifying the ports with plates or expoxy? Are you porting the heads? Thanks for you answers.

well...my old man ran ported 4v heads with epoxy in the exh ports and they flowed 365 intake.....cant remember the exhaust. this was with stock valves too. with a single 4, and 360 inches at 2900lbs he went 9.30@147....setting the record for canadas fastest stock headed mustang.

Re: 4v head mods

stock valves and going fast ??? that tells me one thing--your old man knew what he was doing. most think the stock valves heads just break off on their own , while it's some other part that is at fault . I used the stock valves for drags and oval track for years, no problems with the valves
