Ok guys I have an Old IBM Think Pad 600E
it works has windows 98. Needs new battery but runs just fine on the power charger
maybe some needs this for thier stand alone Ignition or fuel injection ???

I used it for quite awhile

If you use a Older electromotibe or older stand alone igniton it has the old serial port that hooks up without adapers
