Are fuel injector from a 4.6L compatible with a 5.0L (302W)

Are 19# fuel injector from a 2002 4.6L compatible with a 1994 5.0L (302W) engine?

Nope the 4.6 from '99 does not use fuel return line, so evedently the system pressure is higher. Know 2 guys that tried them. Neither could get the engine started, till they reinstalled the original injectors.

I never thought of the returnless fuel system issue, but that does sound reasonable. Ford seems to be going to returnless systems in general. I don't know if that such a good thing when it comes to performance mods.

Go ahead and use them, I have a set from a '01 GT in my 89 5.0 and they work great. I picked them up for $10 from a guy that that installed a supercharger and urgraded. They are a little different style but it runs great.
