Twin Turbo 460

I have a '94 Ford F-350 with the 7.5L(460ci) efi big block. I was wondering if anyone knew what size(lbs.) injectors it has.

Also, I am planning on twin turboing the stock motor(+forged pistons of course). I have had a need for more performance for a while and after much thought and many visits to the many sites with twin turbo projects I have decided that I will either get a new car(something with performance=more money than I have) or upgrade the performance of my truck, without a major engine rebuild or engine swap. If anyone has any knowledge of what I will need to do to the fuel system or how large of injectors I will need to use with mild 4-6psi of boost.

While we're on the subject of my motor, what are the limitations of the stock bottom end?

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you all very much.

Can't do it with speed density injection. I'm building a twin turbo 466 & I'm using a carb to keep it affordable. Using the intake you have will require some $$$

Speed Density injection? So that's what I have. If i can't use that(i'm on a budget), then what can I use.

One more thing, if my goal is 450-500rwhp, how large of injectors will I need to use? I have seen smaller engines make these numbers with injectors in the mid 50lb range. Would that work?

The boost will throw all the sensors into a frenzy no matter what you do. Best thing is to go with a carb. I plan on 700-800 real wheel HP but won't race it like that because it won't get a roll bar. Not bad for the wifes' car Gonna start out with a well worn 460 to work out the bugs, then watch out!

That's no good. I was hoping I could make this a budget twin turbo 460. Doesn't look like that's going to happen. Switch to carb you say? Hmm... Now that's a thought. I'll see what else there is to choose from first. But it does sound good. Thanks for the input.

I CAN use Speed Density Injection. Vortech Superchargers makes a kit for the efi 7.5L and they just use a 12:1 Fuel Managment Unit. So if I use that, I can continue with my budget twin turbo 460 project and I can keep my stock fuel system, plus new fuel pumps and lines.

Uhhhh, ok. Been there. You have to buy the fuel management system from them, it fools your computer into running both pumps under boost & it still doesn't work that well. Put one on a '93 F-150 & he kept it on for 6 months until it burnt a piston.

Maybe it's time to get a car that I can modify. How does a 86-93 Mustang 5.0 sound? Sounds good to me.
