Exhaust

P.S. I have Mac 1 5/8" unequal shorties, but couldn't recommend them - the nickel plate washed off like it was water with the otherwise non-harmful use of Gunk Foamy Engine Brite, and reinstalling the individually flanged primaries to the heads was difficult after the headers had been used - the heat cycling caused the pipes to move, and none of the ports would match up. I ultimately had to use a barbell pipe in each primary tube while standing on the collector to bend the primaries back into some semblence of port matching, using stock shorties as my jig. But you can't beat opening up the exhaust for a more fun hop up.

Depends on how long it takes to get the old ones off.

To R&R a set of shorties, under 2hrs, 3 if you've never done it before.
