Starting weird, what up?

Today I went to a friends house, and stayed for about an hour. I went back to my car ('93 5.0 LX) and turned it on. It sounded as though it wanted to turn off. I didn't think much of it and went to the other side of town and parked it. I was gone for five minutes, came back and turned it on. Again it wanted to turn off but this time I had to rev a bit to keep it on then it was okay for the most part. What's up with that? I have had the car for about a year and have never used injector cleaner.

Might just need to clean the throttle body/check for vacuum leaks/check TPS voltage/pull codes

The module on the distributor may be checking out...mine would run fine for twenty minutes then it wouldn't start for a few then it would be fine...my kids car would start and run really rough... then die... then run...then dead..same problem
