still cant get it

okay its the quadrant and the other gear under the dash they are stripping on each other. How do I remove the quadrant? I have removed the pins but it still is not coming off. Also, what is the name of the other smaller gear connected to the clutch pedal(it appears to move the quadrant).[img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_bicker.gif[/img]

The small POS is the quadrant pawl. To remove just pul the 2 clips(one each) and slide them off there respective shafts. The quadrant will most likely need to be broken to remove it, as there just isn't enough room for it to clear the shaft before it hits a bracket. I used a long pry bar and finally cracked it into 2-3 pieces and it then slid right off. Depending on which aftermarket quadrant you use you may need to use a small section of the quadrant as a spacer for the new one as it may be narrower than stock.
