short belt

Does any one know the p/n for the belt used when the a/c is deleted? (still have smog pump) Chris

Probably depends on the manufacturer. When I converted to no a/c I just went down and got a belt for a late model with no a/c, likity split.

BTW if you are going to delete the a/c you will need an a/c eliminator kit. It moves the p/s up to where the a/c used to be.

I also used the Ford A/C eliminator kit, then all I did was get the belt for no A/C.

I should have elaborated. The kit moves the P/S pump up to where the A/C used to be, this is the location that Ford used when they built a car with no A/C. I used an 89 motor from a Mustang and put it in my 65, I used all the serpentine and when I put on the A/C eliminator kit, I went to the closest auto parts store and got a no A/C belt for an 89 Mustang.
