power windows

Hi all
I have a '89 mustang that both windows go down but not up.
I checked the power at the switches and have power to the down side but no power to the up side of the switch. Any ideas?

I have had an '88 and an '87 with power windows and have found for the most part the contacts in the switches are to blame for this problem. The good news is they can be dismantled and cleaned with fine emory cloth and or an emory stick etc. The switches themselves plug in as modular units into the arm rest frame. They are then held together with barbed clips on their plastic casings. Simply use a small screwdriver and CAREFULLY disassemble them and clean the contact points. Reassemble and see how they work. second that... the switches are notorious for corrosion. i'd be hunting ebay for a replacement as they are usually only a couple of bucks..
