HELP.
I have checked everywhere and cant find the answer.. the Batt keeps running dead.. have repalced the Batt the alt starter silonid and they test OK have pulled all the fuses one at a time with a meter hooked to the Batt and it has a 12.5 v drain with all the fuses out it still drains. I unhook the Batt to use the car and it drains more then it charges so over time even running the Batt runs dead. anyone have any sugestions..

So you are saying the batt discharges even when running, in addition to parked??? Most of the time its a altenator or regulator problem, but you said its been replaced. But I'd disconnect the alt and or reg and see if the drain is still there...

Sounds like a wiring issue on the alternator harness. If there is any electrical tape on it, pull it off and take a look. I developed a problem in my mustang that was hard to solve, pulled the tape, and found 5 taped repairs, 4 wire nuts, and a few other scary things. Ended up making a new harness from a parts truck fit the car.

Doesn't a blown alternator diode also leak voltage in a shut-off car?
