5.0 manifold

I Have a older block and I'm retrofiting 5.0 manifold on it.So i have the lower part on it and then i go to put the manifold on it and it will fit both ways.which way does the TB face on the right or left?

Almost positive it goes to the right.

They will fit either way.... The Mustangs, Tbirds, Cougars, Mark-VII, have them facing the passenger side. While the Big Fords, Mercs, and Lincolns, have them facing the driver side. If you are installing the engine in a Ranger, I'd try for the least amount of interference from other accesories, wiring, throttle cable etc... BTW the throttle body, cable, and EGR spacer are different for the right vs left setup.
