questions on a 1993 5.0 mustang

probably about $3,000 for a budget. happy with flywheel, ecstatic with rwh. right now i'm figuring going .030 over, eagle stroker for either 331 or 347, edelbrock 5.0 heads, windage tray, keep stock cam, adjustable pressure regulator & see how it does with the stock injectors. if the budget will stand it, might go for the AFR 165 heads. any other suggestions?
thanx in advance.

This might be hard on a $3000 budget... You're deffinately going to have to change your injectors. As far as I know the 19lb inj are only supposed to be good for about 350hp. I've heard of people getting more but you really have to jack up the fuel pressure to be safe... does the car need to be street legal? If not you could use a pretty gnarly cam to make more top end power. AFR 165's are great heads but for a stroker motor I would go with the 185's especially if you go with the 347.. bigger runner size to fill those bigger inches... again alot of this depends on whether the car needs to pass smog...
Go into the articles and read the one about the 400hp 302 they built... maybe you could just copy their combination.
Good luck

Just add a supercharger and leave the engine alone unless it is requiring rebuilt. There is countless kits out there
