\'87 in the stable, need help going thru it, wont\' crank

Got this one on auction, 106K, sat for 3 yrs. Done the following... replaced, rotor, cap, button, and wires. Replaced, solonoid, pos and starter leads and starter. Replaced tank and fuel pump, got fresh fuel. Pump starts and primes and shuts off, like its coming up to pressure the way its supposed to. New starter turns motor over and I've got oil pressure on running the starter. I've got no spark. Removed a plug, grounded it, and nothing there. Some of the wires in the harness look like they were nawed on by rats but not cut in two, at least not any that I've found so far. There are a bunch under the starter solonoid. Does anybody know which ones connect to where on the solonoid? Book says look at the neutral switch on the trans for no start. Is the switch open or closed when in the neutral/park position? Would help to know. Also, there is a plug on the wiring harness from the injectors at the front of the motor above the thermostat housing that isn't plugged into anything. What is up with that? Did someone remove a part of the harness on me? Remember this is a speed density car, no mass air sensor. Since the T-top leaked, I'm wondering if the computer connectors have corroded on me too. Thought this was going to be low buck fix, but I'm starting to get visions of carburetors and manifold swapping at night. Am I over my head? Comments/help appreciated!

A no spark problem will be distributor, coil or their wiring related. The computer, neutral safety sw, etc. have no bearing on spark.

Since the f/p pump is priming, sounds like the EEC system(computer) is at least trying to operate...

Part of the problem found, wires under the upper manifold on driver's side were cut. I have another harness to go there. Then will try again.
