Sorry Vinnie, I don't have an extra wire set, but I will pass along something I re-read today from 5.0

You can check and set the voltage on the TPS. To do this, you need some straightpins and a voltmeter. Pierce the green and black wires coming out of the TPS with the pins but don't let them short together. With ignition on but motor not running, take a reading with the black ground of the voltmeter to the black wire, and the red wire of the voltmeter on the green wire. You want the voltage coming close to but not going over 1 volt... 0.996V. You can slot the holes on the TPS and adjust it to get as close to that reading as you can.

Good Luck, Ron

Just curious. Did you slot the holes so you could turn the TPS to get the voltage you need? If so, then that may be all you can do with it. The alternative is to put something in the intake tract to block off some of the air getting thru the air filter. That worked on my car until I got the proper parts in. All I did was take a small piece of cardboard and positioned it in there to block flow. Worked great. Hey, did it make a difference in how it sounds?? Mine did! Oh yea! O.K.,I added a phenolic spacer today. Not to fix the idle problem, but because I had it.While I was at it,I triple checked the wiring, vaccuum hoses,TPS,IAC,throttlebody adjustment screw, and the idle is around 1000 rpms. What gives.I ordered one of those plates that fits between the throttlebody and IAC so you can adjust the idle.Do they really work?I'm out of ideas.Other than the high idle,it's running great, but that idle has got to come down.I haven't to restrict any of the air coming in to the filter yet.I'll get some sheet aluminum out and cut a plate out.Man,this SUCKS !!!!

Yep,tried the idle stop screw, and nothing.I'm lost completely on this high idle issue.I've still got to change my intake gaskets and see if that's part of the problem. This sucks.

I'm wondering if you should try a differnt MAP sensor??? Are you sure you dont have an intake air leak screwing with the MAP sensor?

As soon as possible,I\'m going to change my intake gaskets.I\'ve checked all vaccuum hoses, and the MAP sensor is new.I have another that worked fine from my LSC parts car.I\'ll put it on and try it out.
