explorer 5.0 gtp heads into speed density car

i purchased a 5.0 ford reman motor supposidly a explorer motor and am wondering if it will work with speed density fuel injection untill i switch to mass air. i have a 5.0 ho roller motor in a 64 galaxie that is driven every day and would like to put this motor in it but need to know if it will work with the exsisting fuel injection setup. if not what do you recommend i do thanks in advance chad

explorer 5.0 gtp heads into speed density car

It should be OK, The Explorer cam is fairly mild. It all depends on how much vaccum it pulls idling. If the MAP sensor don't see at least 16"-17" vac it will be to rich at idle.

It will work fine and those are great heads you can do head swaps on the speed density cars all day long as long as the cam does not get crazy from what i hear and the explorer cam is mild
