fuel injectors

I broke one of the little orange plastic hats as I was pulling the injectors out of an old head. Does anyone know if replacements are available? Thx.

Are you talking about the pintle caps? The "hats" on the base of the injector? If so, you can check ebay and get a injector rebuild kit with o-rings, screens, spacers and pintle caps.

I got a set off E-Bay for $20.00 shipped.Enough to do 9 injectors (they send extra pieces).I replaced the screens,o-rings and spacers.Took about 10 minutes to do it all.Very well worth it.Otherwise,you can go to NAPA and get a kit for one injector for about $5.00 or so.When I got my set from E-bay,I payed with pay-Pal and got my set in 2 days.As I said,well worth it.

Follow the instructions and you can't go wrong.I used a screw to remove the old screens.VERY easy to do.I found that with the 4 hole design,I opened up the pintle cap holes just a tiny bit with my exacto knife.
