4.6 mass air

I learned that 03 Police Interceptors have 80mm mass air meters. I also learned that 97-98 Mk VIII's have them too. Does anyone know if i can swap a MK VIII 80mm mass air meter into a 2000 Police Interceptor Crown Vic (4.6)? Will it work, and play nice with the computer? Anything else I would have to change with it (injectors ect.)? I know a k&n would be needed. Thanks.

there's no need to get a bigger meter unless you are exceeding the 375-400hp range.

If the injectors are the same for both cars, then yes, you can swap w/ no problems.

Sorry, but there is a 99.99999% chance that this is wrong.

A Ford MAF meter is setup for a very specific ECU. The injector settings are separate.

To know if it will work, you would have to compare the MAF Transfer of each application.
If the Transfers are within about 10%, then you could try it and it should work pretty well.

Ford didn't make many MAF meters that were interchangeable though...
